Terms of use
These terms are the agreement between you and Chochobachi, the studio that makes Couch Buddies. We’ve kept them short and plain. By using the app you agree to them.
Using Couch Buddies
Couch Buddies is for playing games with people you know. You can use it for personal, non-commercial fun. If you’re a child, please use it with a parent’s or guardian’s permission.
Be kind
Please don’t use Couch Buddies to bully, harass or upset anyone, to share anything illegal, hateful or sexual, to pretend to be someone else, or to break, overload or misuse the app or our servers. Share invite codes only with people you know. If someone breaks these rules we may remove their content or account.
Your content
What you create — your drawings, answers and the rest — is yours. You give us permission to store it and show it to the people in your groups, because that’s how the games work. That permission ends when the content is deleted. Our privacy policy explains what we collect and how to delete it.
Our app
Couch Buddies, its games, artwork and Couch Buddy characters belong to Chochobachi. We’re a small studio: we’ll keep improving the app, and games or features may change, come and go. We do our best to keep everything running, but the app is provided “as is”, without guarantees that it will always be available or free of bugs.
Responsibility
To the extent the law allows, we aren’t liable for indirect or unexpected losses from using the app. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law that can’t be excluded.
Apple
You get Couch Buddies from Apple’s App Store, so Apple’s standard licence terms for apps also apply. Apple isn’t responsible for the app or its support — we are.
Ending things
You can stop using Couch Buddies and delete your account at any time in Settings. We may suspend accounts that break these terms.
